- This position assists with workload for the Eligible Persons Register in supporting family violence victims.The Department of Justice supports reasonable adjustment requests in any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation in all aspects of employment for applicants with disability. **Period of Appointment**:
Fixed term until 22 November 2024

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

**Duties**:

- Undertake specialised high-level administrative and clerical functions associated with the day to day operations of the Victims Assistance Unit including the Eligible Persons Register, in respect of family violence matters.
- Liaise and provide information to victims of crime, victims of crime services, staff from within the Department of Justice and concerned members of the public.
- Record information on the Eligible Persons Register, collating information from relevant data sources including SIMS maintain statistical records and assist with the management of information for the Victims Assistance Unit.
- Maintain a thorough filing system for the administration of the Unit and registrations on the Eligible Persons Register.
- Provide administrative support and input into the role of Court Support and Liaison Services (for adult and children) for the Safe at Home project.
- Provide a professional reception service that includes directing and assisting members of the public.
- Maintain the Victims Support Services website.
- Perform any other assigned duties for the Victims Assistance Unit at the classification level that are within the employee’s competence and training.
- The incumbent can be expected to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.
