Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes of the legal services. You will be responsible for managing billing activities, maintaining billing records, and providing support to internal stakeholders on billing-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and review client invoices with meticulous attention to detail;
Liaise with attorneys and legal assistants to gather billing information and resolve discrepancies;
Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and legal regulations;
Monitor billing processes and identify opportunities for process improvements;
Assist in month-end and year-end billing reconciliations; and
Provide support and guidance to internal teams on billing-related queries.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in billing, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment;
Experience in Aderant Expert is essential;
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other billing tools;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively; and
Strong judgement and problem-solving ability.
