**About the Unit**:
The Research and Innovation Division promotes and enhances the University's strong and vibrant research culture by attracting, training, and supporting researchers and industry partnerships to solve real-world problems.

The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Research is responsible for key functions underpinning and facilitating research, including research ethics and integrity, researcher development and support, and research performance and impact.

The Ethics Officer position sits within the Research Ethics & Integrity team, which provides best practice advice and support to the University’s research community, the Division’s senior executive, and the Division’s internal stakeholders, in relation to:

- Research integrity;
- Research legislation and policy;
- Research codes of conduct;
- Research ethics; and
- Quality assurance.

The Ethics Officer is a pivotal position within the Research Ethics & Integrity team. You will be part of a pro-active, positive, and collegiate team that supports the University’s research community.

This fixed-term position is 12 month fixed term, part time (0.6 FTE) and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

**What we offer**:
The remuneration for this position is from $82,707 to $91,259 pro-rated +17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
