Account Sales Representative

**Position Overview**
As the Account Sales Representative you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and maximising revenue opportunities. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a deep understanding of our products/services. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to address client needs, identify growth opportunities, and provide excellent customer service.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
**Account Management**
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned client accounts, serving as the primary contact for all client inquiries and requests.
- Understand clients' business objectives and actively contribute insights and solutions to effectively propose and position our products.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Monitor account performance and implement strategies to maximise client retention and satisfaction.
**Sales and Business Development**
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts, presenting additional products or services to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Develop account expansion plans to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for acquiring new accounts and expanding market presence.
**Customer Service**
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the company, ensuring effective communication and coordination between various departments.
- Track customer feedback and satisfaction levels, implementing improvement measures where necessary.
**Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with clients, understanding their business and industry trends.
- Conduct regular meetings and interactions with key stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and identify business opportunities.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, anticipating and fulfilling clients' needs to build long-lasting partnerships.
**Reporting and Analysis**
- Prepare and analyse sales reports, account performance metrics, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and formulate strategies.
- Utilise Salesforce to track and manage customer interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account information.
**Selection Criteria**
**Experience**
- Previous experience in account management or sales within the relevant industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts.
**Competencies**
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build strong relationships and maintain customer loyalty.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and priorities.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission
- Performance bonus
