If so, this position is an excellent opportunity to use your experience of program management, stakeholder engagement, policy development and project management to contribute to the well-being of people with mental illness in NSW.

We are looking for a high performing Policy Officer with experience in project management, policy and program development and strong stakeholder engagement skills to join the Mental Health Branch at the NSW Ministry of Health.

Crown Clerk Grade 7/8, salary from $101,947 - $112,849 p.a. (plus super and annual leave loading)

**What you'll be doing**
You will be working for the Supported Living Team in the Mental Health Branch of the Ministry of Health. The team manages a busy and dynamic portfolio which is focused on the NSW Government’s mental health reform priority to enhance community-based supports for people with a mental illness.
- work with a team to manage the flagship NSW Mental Health Community Living Programs supporting adults with severe mental illness to live well in the community - Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI), Community Living Supports (CLS), HASI Plus, and Mental Health Community Living Supports for Refugees
- collaborate with our local health districts, cross-agency partners and community-managed organisations, as well as other teams within the Ministry to assist with delivering mental health policy priorities
- provide analysis and advice and draft briefs, correspondence and other communications to support the day-to-day management of the Community Living Programs

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills
- the ability to manage workload and keep to deadlines
- sound knowledge of community mental health services and the mental health sector is desirable
- experience in budget management and data reporting is also highly desirable
