On behalf of our client, Woodside - a Global Energy Company, Brunel is actively sourcing a Planning Specialist to provide specialist advice and execute planning, development and communication of Work Management work schedules for the Pyrenees FPSO or Macedon Gas Plant Operations. This will be a 12 month contract located at their ‘state of the art’ CBD premises.

**About this role**
An insight into some of your responsibilities:

- Identification of resources, parts, materials and procedures to develop and plan work for safe and efficient execution
- Liaise with Maintenance Contractors to ensure execution of work in accordance with SAP schedules and processes
- Supporting the Planning Superintendent in delivering Woodside HSE, Production and Cost targets
- Monitoring SAP work management performance
- Liaise with Supply and Logistics to monitor progress of the procurement process and deliveries to ensure spares and other materials are available on site when required
- Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure execution of Maintenance activities in line with SAP work management schedules
- Identification of Work Management Master Data improvements associated with system generated work
- Comply with the SAP Work Management processes to schedule work based on the prioritisation as determined by the Maintenance Execution sub-function
- Validates labour capacities and applies adequate resource levelling to produce a 4 week look ahead
- Liaises with Main Work Centre Owners and other Planning Specialists to ensure that Resource Work Centre capacities (capacity managed) are considered and accurately updated in SAP
- Create and plan SAP work orders as per SAP Planner Group
- Facilitate the weekly Pre-Prioritisation, Prioritisation, Scheduling and the Resource Levelling meetings

**About you**
- Experience in Maintenance/Project Management, preferably in the hydrocarbons industry will be well received
- Strong scheduling software experience in MS Project, MS Excel or Primavera
- Advanced understanding of MS Excel spreadsheets and modelling
- Experience in SAP Work Management Processes and Systems
- Understanding of petroleum assets from a Production, Risk and Cost Control perspective
- Experience and working knowledge of SAP software, especially MRS Scheduling
- Knowledge of HSE Management Systems, emergency response, risk management and process plant operations
- A trade or engineering qualification together with a formal training in Maintenance/Project Management is desirable
- Experience with Rotating Equipment and/or Cranes/Lifting is desirable
