**The opportunity**:
We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join Murdoch Children’s Research Institute as a Project Officer in a part time capacity.

As a Project Officer, you will have the incredible opportunity to work alongside Professor Mimi Tang, a renowned leader in Allergy Immunology research. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and undertaking a diverse range of research, administrative, and support functions for our Allergy Immunology research group.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating, leading, and implementing various research-based activities to enhance productivity and drive optimal outcomes for our project teams. You will collaborate closely with Professor Mimi Tang to deliver on project priorities, contributing to ground-breaking advancements in the field.

This role is offered on 12 month contract with potential to extend. This position is part time at 2 days per week (15.2 hours).

**Your responsibilities include**:
Drives project management for specific smaller projects under supervision
Facilitates and leads internal and external meetings/workshops with stakeholders with support and direction to achieve project outcomes
Liaises with and manages stakeholder expectations in relation to project delivery (time/resource/cost implications/risk) with support
Contributes to collection, preparation and distribution of information and data as required by the project and research group
Develops the structure and content for reports independently from draft to final stage under supervision

**About you**:
Degree/Honours/Masters qualification in relevant field (eg. immunology, population health, clinical trials)
Demonstrated experience in project management including the planning, monitoring and evaluation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience communicating to a wide range of stakeholders
Evidence of previous work in a complex and dynamic environment
Experience in a similar role in a health or tertiary environment is desirable
