**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager with a passion for research and innovation. As the Research Strategy Project Officer (RSPO) within the Chancellery Research and Enterprise (CRE) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) to achieve the University's strategic research objectives. With a focus on research infrastructure strategy, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and develop high-quality research initiatives, collaborate with key stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of the University's research ambitions. This role offers a dynamic and diverse environment, where your problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and adaptability will be highly valued.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide high quality project support and project administration/coordination for research infrastructure and other key areas of research strategy, as needed.
- Draft responses to consultation or issues papers (e.g. government consultation papers for University Senior Executives, coordinating the collection and collation of information from various stakeholders and effectively managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Engage effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders, including providers and supporters of research infrastructure and platform technologies at the University.
- Provide high quality administrative support to a number of committees supported within CRE, by organising meetings, recording minutes and following up on action items as appropriate.

**Who we are looking for**
We’re looking for an experienced project officer with strong verbal and written communication skills. You also need to have efficient organisational and planning skills.

You will also have:

- Relevant qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience working in research administration and/or a technology platform.
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Education/experience in science, engineering or biomedical is desirable but not necessary
