**About the Position**

The Sport & Leisure Officer role involves assisting the delivery of Stirling Leisure Centres sport and leisure programs across multiple facilities inclusive of sport competitions, coaching programs, holiday program and leisure programs. Supervising sporting competitions to ensure the programs are operated in professional, safe and enjoyable manner, including overseeing umpires, teams, players, maintaining equipment, general program administration and customer interaction. The role will support the Senior Sport & Leisure Programs Officer, whilst also assisting the Team Leader of Sport & Leisure Programs when required.

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties of the Sport & Leisure Officer will include but are not limited to:

- Monitor umpires, coaches, and instructor’s performance to ensure excellent program delivery and customer service.
- Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure employees are meeting expectations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Umpires, Coaches, and Instructor rosters.
- Liaise with sport and leisure participants and customers during program delivery.
- Provide good customer service and manage any potential conflicts that may arise during sport competitions.
- Handle enquiries and customer service both in person, phone and online related to sport and leisure programs.
- Comply with workplace Occupational Health and Safety requirements, reporting and supporting a proactive safety culture.

**About You**
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, superior community engagement and customer service, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with experience in dealing with difficult situations.
- Understanding of program delivery and administration across various sporting codes and leisure activities.
- Understanding of the principles of provision of outstanding customer service both internal and external.
- Experience in the delivery of organised sports, junior and leisure programs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- High level organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the rules of Basketball, Netball and/or Indoor Soccer.

There are two positions are available 1x permanent full-time position and 1x permanent part time position of 19 hours per week. These positions are a Level 4 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $68,114.24 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
