Our client is a large federal government department located in Canberra.

**The Opportunity**:
You will have the opportunity to work on reporting for the census, IFAs senate estimates as well as APS and Agency surveys to help support the achievement of section, and branch.

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and undertake complex tasks including research, and analysis activities, providing input to high-level papers, and identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve and/or streamline systems and processes.

**The Role**:
As the APS4/5 Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Developing regular and ad-hoc employee reports and analysis including the preparation of regular SES reports, Senate Estimate Briefs, Questions on Notice, SES Cap Reporting, APS Remuneration Survey and other ad-hoc reporting as required
- Assisting the coordination of employee surveys including the APS Employee Census, State of the Service Agency Survey, and entry and exit surveys
- Managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals, including the development and support of complex relationships and maintaining internal and external networks
- Providing technical advice and interpretation of HR data for daily, weekly and end of month/financial year employee reporting activities, using Aurion, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

**Your Background and Experience**:
To be successful in this role you will have contemporary skills and experience in HR reporting and analysis, including highly developed data analysis skills using HRMIS. You will also have:

- Experience in PowerBI and/or other data visualisation tools is desirable
- Experience using Aurion
- Well-developed communication skills with proven experience in preparing succinct and cohesive written materials
- Ability to collaborate with others and work well in a team
- A successful record of quality in client service delivery
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to use judgement and problem-solving skills and the ability to provide flexible solutions to complex matters

**Salary / Rate**:

- $80k - $84k + 15.4% Super
- Flexible working arrangements
