**About the Role**

As a teaching focused Lecturer, you are responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of courses within STEM’s undergraduate, honours and postgraduate courses in the discipline of Information Technology.

The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support STEM’s teaching and learning outcomes including Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL).

**Core Responsibilities**
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of engaging, relevant and technology-enhanced curricula for identified programs and courses
- Implement innovative teaching approaches
- Undertake administrative duties related to teaching of identified courses and programs
- Undertake course coordination and provide leadership to other academic staff in the teaching team

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A doctoral qualification in Information Technology or a related area; or postgraduate degree in relevant discipline; or equivalent professional/industry experience.
- Experience in teaching, including design and preparation of teaching activities and resources, for both service and discipline-specific teaching
- Understanding and experience in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching through continual development and improving performance
