**About the Role**
**About UniSA Information Strategy and Technology Services**
**Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS)**, which has the primary strategic and operational responsibility for the provision of the UniSA’s considerable IT infrastructure and services has approximately 150 staff in 9 key areas.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, support and manage the University’s corporate databases, associated services and research data management as well as their underlying technologies
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements and service levels expected of Research and Data Management Support
- Perform system administration functions, including security, upgrades, problem investigation and resolution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ISTS methodologies and quality procedures including security standards and ensure that they are followed
- Manage, develop and support the University’s Research Systems and Data Management Infrastructure to ensure business objectives are met
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge surrounding the architecture, design, development and support of database management systems and services, data integration environments and research data management in a large enterprise environment
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective liaison with staff at all levels
- Experience in service management framework in relation to incident, change and problem management
- Experience in the support of Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB and modern methods of data integration
