- Salary from $104,143 - $117,307 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About the Role**

The Manager: Commercialisation contributes to the commercialisation strategy and operations relating to the assessment, preparation and deal design for the commercialisation of University sourced Intellectual Property (IP). You will develop close partnerships within Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) industry sectors to identify potential commercialisation research partners and manage the processes from identification through to commercialisation.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Develop commercial relationships within STEM, and/or HASS domain researchers, and external industry partners, government departments and others to secure potential investors
- Actively promote research opportunities from UniSA both nationally and internationally
- Conduct sector enabling capability mapping to enhance University-wide collaboration to achieve agreed revenue targets.
- Provide advice and support to key internal stakeholder including research centres and concentrations on their approach to IP, translation, commercialisation and nurture interdisciplinary partnerships
- Develop and implement business plans and investment proposals, in conjunction with Business Development Teams to enhance successful commercialisation of UniSA research within the domain of operation

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and relevant experience in Commercialisation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education
- Demonstrated experience in STEM and/or HASS, or equivalent experience in a complex environment
- Demonstrated understanding of intellectual property protection processes and procedures, patents and commercialisation outcomes
- Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate a range of technical and commercial information to various internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of execution of commercial project proposals including negotiation, budget development, risk management, legal and contract compliance
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of advice and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding commercialisation
