**Your new role**

Working as an Operations Officer you will:

- ** Process and Monitor Transactions**: Ensure timely handling of daily transactions according to branch policies and market norms.
- ** Resolve Unsettled Transactions**: Identify and address unsettled transactions before the cut-off time.
- ** Coordinate with stakeholders**: Collaborate with internal and external parties regarding transaction-related matters.
- ** Test Core Banking System**: Conduct ongoing testing for new products or system enhancements and prepare testing reports.
- ** Document Procedures**: Create manuals and document procedures.
- ** Generate Reports**: Prepare regular and ad hoc internal reports for the Head Office
- ** AUSTRAC Reporting**: Prepare online IFTI (International Funds Transfer Instruction) reports for AUSTRAC.
- ** Handle Ad Hoc Tasks**: Complete daily tasks assigned by the Department Head.
- ** Provide Administrative Support**: Assist the team head with ad hoc administrative duties.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- ** Loan Administration or Settlement Experience**:

- ** Wholesale Banking Knowledge**: A solid understanding of **wholesale banking products** and the settlement process.
- ** SWIFT System Familiarity**: Proficiency with the **SWIFT system**.
- ** Bilingual Communication Skills**: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities in both **English and Mandarin**.
- ** Effective Planning and Coordination**: Demonstrated ability to **plan, coordinate, and prioritise** workloads.
- ** Attention to Detail**: High attention to **accuracy and efficiency**.
- ** Basic Excel Knowledge**: Familiarity with **Excel**.
