**The opportunity**:
Are you passionate about children's mental health and seeking a flexible role? Join us at the Melbourne Children’s Campus (Campus) and contribute to our Mental Health Strategy on a part-time basis. We're looking for a dedicated Research Support Officer to join our team at 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and make a meaningful impact on our research initiatives.

About your new team
At the Melbourne Children’s Campus, in partnership with The Royal Children's Hospital, Murdoch Children's Research Institute, and the University of Melbourne's Department of Paediatrics, we're committed to our Mental Health Strategy 2021 - 2025. Our goal is to provide evidence-based, comprehensive mental health care and prevention for infants, children, and adolescents. **Your responsibilities include**:
Conduct ethical research and related work at the highest level of integrity and in line with the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research and MCRI policies.
Support the working and advisory groups to design and develop research priorities, including preparing reports and documenting decisions relating to the work of Lived Experience Advisors, Clinicians, Researchers through meetings and/or interview data.
Co-ordinate meetings across the Research Strategy, including research fora, journal clubs, stakeholder engagement, advisory groups.
Assist and contribute to acquisition and analysis of quantitative data.
**What we need from you**:
Honours/Masters involving research training in psychology, nursing, science, public health, or related discipline.
Training and experience in research methodology, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Experience completing qualitative research with vulnerable groups or those with diagnosed mental health conditions.
Experience of systematic reviews or similar methods in a clinical research environment, ideally with mental health of children and young people and their families.
