As a Parking and Traffic Officer, you will proactively promote and carry out effective Parking Enforcement duties in the municipality. Your role is crucial in maintaining public health and safety by enforcing compliance with the Road Safety Act 1986, Regulations, Road Safety Road Rules, and Council's Local Laws.

**About You**:

- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrate alignment with Knox values
- Self-motivated with initiative and timely work production
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in writing reports and preparing evidence for court
- Commitment to a team philosophy and continuous improvement
- Computer literacy (MS Office) and quick learner of new systems
- Minimum secondary Year 12 education
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Experience in parking enforcement, compliance, or regulatory role
- Customer service experience in resolving difficult situations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular parking patrols
- Investigate customer requests/reports and take necessary action
- Enforce relevant legislation and serve infringement notices
- Liaise with Council Officers, public, and statutory authorities
- Maintain confidentiality of Parking Enforcement activities
- Cover school crossings and assist with Community Laws team duties
- Participate in Council's Performance Development and Review process
- Adhere to OHS, Risk Management, Equal Opportunity & Charter Of Human Rights policies
