**The Role**
ASD’s Corporate Development, Inclusion and Engagement Section are currently seeking an Assistant Director - Diversity and Inclusion the Executive Level1 to lead the section responsible for the delivery of diversity and inclusion services and programs to the ASD workforce.

Your role may include:

- Leading a hybrid team to deliver ASD’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
- Providing expertise and advice on matters affecting staff across a wide range of diversity dimensions including age, caring responsibilities, culture, ethnicity, religious commitments, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, and disability.
- Designing, reviewing and implementing governance and process structures that support collaboration across the workforce from leadership and business areas to staff and employee networks.
- Researching, developing and maintaining relations with external providers and programs
- Administering and coordinating diversity and inclusion events.
- Identifying, improving and driving the strategic direction of diversity and inclusion within ASD.
- Developing change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- proven leadership and management experience,
- proven experience in setting direction leading diversity and inclusion objectives and achieving outcomes,
- demonstrated cultural competency in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples,
- proven complex problem solving and strategic thinking skills,
- proven interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills,
- experience building rapport with colleagues and external stakeholders,
- a strong attention to detail to achieve high quality outcomes, and
- Experience contributing to or leading agile and dynamic teams.
