They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Manager to join our Renewable Energy Development & Asset Management team. This pivotal role will involve driving our client's commercial strategy, overseeing project development, and managing assets throughout their lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Developing and executing commercial strategies to maximise the value of renewable energy projects.
- Leading negotiations and managing contracts with suppliers, offtakers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and project development milestones.
- Providing financial analysis and modelling support for project evaluations and investment decisions.
- Overseeing the performance of existing assets, including monitoring operational metrics and optimising revenue streams.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, including utilities, government agencies, and financial institutions.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercial processes and efficiency.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial management within the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of project development and asset management processes.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to perform financial modelling and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages considered a plus.
