As part of our diverse team based in our **Sydney or Newcastle **office**, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

In a true business partnering role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a communications plan to meet the strategic objectives of one our specialised business units. You will develop concise and compelling material to educate, inform and promote the work we do, including case studies, award submissions, and key messaging for programs, services and initiatives with a focus on our external audience.

Building connections with people is key, it will enable you to establish positive relationships swiftly and demonstrate your ability to influence and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.

This will be a **Full **Time Permanent** position based in either of our **Sydney** or **Newcastle** offices, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Proactively drive, implement, and deliver communication plans and activities tailored to business unit strategic objectives with a focus on external communications to our target audiences.
- Manage and coordinate branding and communications, tactics and activities from briefing, planning, development, and implementation to evaluation.
- Develop, direct, design, produce and distribute targeted on-brand high quality communication material and activities (including traditional content, collateral, presentations, case studies, articles, speeches, award nominations, social media content and website/SharePoint etc.) for internal and external communications.
- Provide expertise and insight to support business change initiatives and communications.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in leading communications strategy and planning
- Hands-on professional, who can flex between strategic thinking and tactical delivery
- More than 5+ years demonstrated experience in a similar Marketing and Communications role, working within a fast-paced business environment with experience in insurance or workers compensation / personal injury highly regarded
- Qualification aligned to Business, Marketing or Management
- Minimum intermediate proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Strong negotiation, influencing, analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions
- Advanced interpersonal, written and customer service skills
