We are looking for a **Technical Lead Consultant** to join our team, located in Sydney. This is a uniquely challenging role A customer-facing position providing a hybrid of technical consultancy and support (both onsite and remote).

**What you will be doing**:

- Providing technical consultancy to our customers
- Define, design, build, deliver and run the engagement, platforms and/or products required.
- Participate in multi-functional teams in delivering consulting engagements.
- Broad technical knowledge and experience with a disciplined and best-practice approach
- Understand our customer business requirements and how to use technology to reach these business goals.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders and vendors (including C-level executives)
- Ability to propose and implement solutions to remediate the root cause of major issues.
- Ensuring changes are documented, reviewed, presented in CAB, and implemented in such a way as to minimise risk to our client's business operations.
- Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution.

**What’s the role about?**
- Work with and manage other 3rd party service providers to deliver tasks and projects for our clients.
- Use the consultation process to negotiate and confirm contract requirements with relevant customers and vendors.
- Determine IT project requirements: Project specifications and other relevant documentation are obtained and analysed to establish project requirements.
- Communicate unresolved issues, concerns and problems raised by team members and follow up with the line manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead projects that transform our client’s business
- Partner with solution architects to design superior solutions.
- Delegating work and assignments to team members
- Review draft documentation to ensure the accuracy and relevance of information & disseminate it to relevant stakeholders for feedback.
- Evaluate and take necessary corrective action regarding unresolved issues, concerns and problems raised by stakeholders.
- Supervising system modifications
- Guiding the team through technical issues and challenges.

**What do you need to succeed in this role?**

Essential Technical Experience and Requirements:_**
- Experience as a Technical lead engineer or consultant
- Experience and working knowledge of ITSM concepts
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT industry
- Tertiary qualifications (e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering)
- Microsoft Certified: O365, MCSE, Active Directory, Azure Administrator & Fundamentals.
- Industry certs: CCNP, ITIL, VMWare, EMC
- Scripting languages: PowerShell

**_ Desirable Technical Experience & Requirements:_**
- Azure solutions architect certified.
- PAM and Identity Access Management
- Microsoft Office: DHCP, DNS, File & Print, IIS, Terminal Services, SQL 2000-2012, ISA / TMG, System Center
- AWS Certified (Fundamentals to Solutions Architect)

- Australian residency or citizenship
- AFP Police clearance check required
