**Job Description: Technical Consultant - Sterling Integrator**

**Position Overview**:As a Technical Consultant specializing in Sterling Integrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless SFTP protocol operations, particularly within Sterling Integrator and Connect Direct environments. This client-facing role demands exceptional customer management skills and effective communication, both written and verbal. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining efficient file delivery, enhancing secure connections, and resolving technical challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage client interactions, addressing inquiries, understanding requirements, and proposing technical solutions to meet their needs.
- Employ excellent customer management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continued partnership.
- Demonstrate expertise in SFTP key generation and maintenance, including protocols such as SFTP, SSH, File Delivery, Secure +, and Secure Proxy.
- Utilize your strong understanding of PG/GPG encryption, along with troubleshooting skills, to identify and resolve encryption-related issues.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as user creation and SFTP account management, to ensure smooth operations of secure file transfers.
- Configure, install, and update cryptographic keys on servers to maintain the integrity of connections and data transfers.
- Install Sterling Integrator Agents on designated systems, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
- Engage in day-to-day activities including handling JSM (Job and System Management) tickets, managing service requests and incident tickets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise Change Requests and Firewall Requests, contributing to a secure and compliant network environment.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and Middleware (MW) planning, offering insights and technical expertise.
- Work in Sydney, adapting to the dynamic nature of client needs and technical challenges.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in Sterling Integrator and Connect Direct, with demonstrable expertise in SFTP protocols and associated technologies.
- Strong understanding of key generation, including maintenance of SFTP, SSH, File Delivery, Secure +, and Secure Proxy.
- Extensive knowledge of PG/GPG encryption and troubleshooting experience in related areas.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks, including user creation and SFTP account management.
- Experience in configuring, installing, and updating cryptographic keys on servers.
- Familiarity with installing Sterling Integrator Agents on designated systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technical challenges.
- A customer-centric approach with the capability to manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
