**ServiceNow Technical Consultants - NSW Government**
- Rate: Up to $1200 p/d + super
- 6 month contract with extensions (long term project)
- Parramatta / WFH (flexible working)

**Primary purpose of the role**

The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for guiding and implementing ServiceNow solutions in an Enterprise Environment. With broad experience in various ServiceNow modules, including Universal Request, this role will provide expertise in creating forms, workflows, and defining data interfaces to support business logic.

**Key accountabilities**
- **ServiceNow Solution Delivery**: Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules tailored for the company's Enterprise Service Management (ESM) needs.
- **Architecture and Design**: Create the overall architecture of ServiceNow solutions, selecting appropriate components, defining data models, and designing system integration points.
- **Technical Documentation**: Produce and maintain clear technical artifacts such as system diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc., that reflect the ServiceNow design and implementation.
- **Technical Leadership**: Provide guidance to the development team on ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, testing, and deployment.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with business owners, project managers, and developers to align the ServiceNow solution with business goals.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and implement enhancements, upgrades, and new functionalities within ServiceNow to ensure continuous improvement.
- **Compliance and Security**: Ensure that ServiceNow solutions are scalable, maintainable, supportable, and compliant with relevant security standards, including proper access controls and encryption.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Strong experience in building forms and workflows within ServiceNow, including customisations using low/pro/no code techniques.
- Experience and ability to hold conversations, advice and negotiate on technical issues, technical debt, and architecture pros and cons.
- Understanding of data dependencies and data interfaces within ServiceNow.
- Expertise in maintaining and populating ServiceNow's CMDB and Service Catalog.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow's ESM/ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Release.
- Proven track record of analyzing, designing, and documenting ServiceNow solutions.
- Exposure to ServiceNow or other leading ESM/ITSM platforms.
