Our customer is a highly respected international provider of automated modular warehousing and logistics solutions. With a proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar systems for renowned brands and a strong demand for their technology, they are seeking an Intralogistics Solution Consultant to join their team.

As the Intralogistics Solution Consultant, based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will have direct access to the executive and projects team, providing you with invaluable support and input. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, develop suitable concepts, and create costing models for intralogistics systems projects in Australia and New Zealand. You will cover the full sales cycle, from understanding the customers requirements to actively selling the benefits of the solution and securing viable contracts for the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow up allocated leads and proactively develop strong relationships with target prospects.
- Own target projects and manage the complete sales cycle, including understanding customer requirements and conducting data analysis.
- Develop cost-effective and attractive concepts in collaboration with the Application Engineering, Storage Engineering, Software, and Customer Service teams.
- Create sales strategies for target projects in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations.
- Work through commercial terms with management to finalize contracts.
- Develop a strong knowledge of automation solutions and products.
- Contribute to other automation projects through design and proposal reviews.
- Maintain good relationships with customers to monitor their satisfaction throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with international product centres.
- Provide design and engineering support as required, including estimating and drawing.
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

About You:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Applied Science.
- Demonstrable experience in concepting and developing automated solutions (vendor, consultancy, or client-side).
- Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Negotiation skills.
- Supervision and prioritization skills.
- Assertiveness and sound commercial acumen.

Preferred Skills:

- Systems experience in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD (not prerequisites).
