Your new job
The Administration Officer will provide operational support to the Practice Manager at Headspace Werribee, ensuring effective delivery of all administrative functions. This role will be integral to the overall functioning and delivery of mental health and wellbeing services.
Reporting to the Practice Manager you will:
- Oversee and coordinate administrative processes at the centre, including working reception days as required.
- Oversee the induction and training of all staff, including private practitioners.
- Reconciliation of MBS income and preparation of invoices for processing by Orygen, to facilitate Private Provider pays.
- Provide reception staff with supervision, training and instruction in accordance with Orygen policies.
- Our headspace sites operate after 5pm multiple times a week, availability to work across rotating shifts required._
What you’ll need
You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in business management and / or administration would be desirable.
- Previous administration experience working in a health service or similar environment.
- Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and an ability to identify risks and respond accordingly in the work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, negotiate and negotiate with young people, carers, family members, health and other professionals.
