**The Role**

An exciting opportunity is available within the Compliance and Environmental Health Department at the City of Whittlesea. The department is transitioning to a new phase with expanded hours of operation. We need dynamic employees who are passionate about continuous improvement and ready to take on new challenges. This role is provided with commuter use of a vehicle as per the City of Whittlesea Vehicle Policy.

City of Whittlesea Parking Officers encourage compliance with parking rules and restrictions, promote an effective parking system resulting in the safe movement of vehicles, and encourage sufficient parking turnover to assist people to access their destination. They provide consistent, professional information and advice to internal and external stakeholders and ensure an appropriate balance between education and enforcement.

**About you**
A successful applicant will:

- Have a sound knowledge of the Victorian Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Infringements Act 2006.
- Have at least 2 years experience in a Local Government enforcement role preferably including experience in parking enforcement.
- Be able to demonstrate experience delivering an exceptional standard of customer service in a high-pressure environment.
- Have integrity of the highest standard.
- Be enthusiastic about change in the workplace.
- Be confident working with new and existing technologies.
- Have a current Australian driver’s license.
- Able to assist with weekend overtime shifts.
