**About the role**

The Administration Support Officer is responsible for the provision of a professional, responsive and efficient administrative support service including a broad range of services relating to administrative and correspondence coordination that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer. As a member of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (OCEO) executive services team, the Administration Support Officer participates in the development, implementation of systems and process to enhance the team’s responsiveness and effectiveness.

The role includes:

- Maintain the correspondence function within the Office of the Chief Executive Officer
- Provide administrative support for the Ministerial correspondence and briefing function, via the Objective Records Management system.
- Provide quality check for incoming correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the Board and Government Relations Unit and the OCEO.
- Perform general administrative duties, involving word processing, receipt and collation of information, preparation of routine documentation, photocopying and maintenance of appropriate filing systems.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to selected committees.
- Maintain stock control including ordering stationery and equipment as required.

**Essential Requirements**
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
