The Executive Support Officer is accountable to the Registrar for the provision of confidential executive and administrative support services which contribute to the effective management of the Office of the Registrar.

This role is offered at part time, at the ASO4 Level and for a term of 12 months - located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.

**Role Summary**

***The Executive Support Officer is responsible for:

- Providing a comprehensive range of support services to the Registrar and the Board including preparing agendas, minutes, and papers and supporting information;
- Providing a professional, courteous and confidential screening service as first point of contact for the Presiding Member of the Board (when required) and the Registrar;
- Ensuring confidential, timely management and prioritising of appointments of the Registrar diaries and the Presiding Member (when required);
- Undertaking tasks associated with the formatting and production of documents using various Microsoft products;
- Liaising with relevant staff to manage travel arrangements for the Registrar;
- Maintaining accurate records in various information and file management databases as well as electronic and hard copy files;
- Supporting the delivery and maintenance of quality work practices and services to a professional standard.

- Demonstrated effective verbal communication and negotiation skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated high-level writing skills and ability to prepare complex reports that highlight options and risks
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective collaborative working relationships and business partnerships with clients

Organisational Skills
- Ability to keep accurate and complete records of core business activities in accordance with agency responsibilities under the _State Records Act 1997_.
- Maintain a commitment to EEO Diversity, Ethical Conduct and the legislative requirements of the _Public Sector Act 2009_ and _Work Health and Safety Act 2012_.
- Model ethical behaviour and practices consistent with the Public Sector Code of Ethics, the Board's stated values and various policies and procedures.

Continuous Improvement and Organisational Safety
- Seek opportunities to improve organisational processes by contributing to improvement initiatives, fostering good customer service, and participating in professional development opportunities.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace and identify and act on potential workplace hazards as well as identify and implement procedures to manage and minimise WHS risks for the Board.

Technical Skills
- A proven knowledge and successful experience in secretarial, executive support and administration processes and functions.
