**About the role**

Under the general direction of the General Manager, the **Service Coordinator provides quality and effective leadership and guidance to Psychosocial Support Workers supporting Participants **and to achieve outcomes and goals for the people CLO supports. You will actively contribute to employee development to support overall outcomes.

As Service Coordinator, you will assist to create an empowering environment for participants and work to maximise independence in the least restrictive environment. You will engage in the development and review of plans and programs and will monitor and assess plans and implementation for effectiveness.

**Key responsibilities:
- Provide employee support and leadership to meet KPIs
- Facilitating team PDPs and development opportunities
- Identifying training needs to educate and develop others to achieve quality outcomes
- Service delivery, planning and program development
- Lead the team with effective development and implementation of a range of developmental programming techniques
- Be a positive brand ambassador for CLO internally and externally
- Supervise and monitor operation/information systems (including rosters) and identify organisational requirements including risk management

**Essential requirements:
- Mental Health experience
- Ability to be flexible and work in diverse and challenging situations
- Experience in working with people who have complex needs associated with a moderate to severe mental illness
- Understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation and capacity building for and with people with mental illness and psychosocial disabilities
- Ability to implement individualised developmental programs and group programs
- Current 'C Class' Driver's Licence
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or DHS Disability Clearance.
- Valid Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001) - must maintain currency
- Tertiary Qualification in Community services, Social Work, Behavioural Science or similar (Bachelor Level or higher)

**About you**:
To become part of CLO's dynamic operations team, you will have a values match with CLO as a first vital point to success as well as extensive experience in the industry. You will be adaptable to fast-paced and changing environments and have an in-depth understanding of the NDIS and how this impacts participants, service providers and staff. You will be able to support and guide staff to adapt to industry changes and demands and will share your knowledge with your team.
