The Head of Portfolio Growth is responsible for the positioning, growth and successful investment decisions into the utility scale generation and storage asset portfolio, as ENGIE Australia seeks to deliver its objectives on renewable and new energy assets, deployed to 2030.

The role will lead a small team and be accountable to the Managing Director Renewables and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our new Southbank office
- hybrid model.

Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct the Portfolio Growth business function to identify, evaluate and secure business growth opportunities (primarily generation assets) in support of our asset goals and oversee those integrated into our wider business. This may include via organic, greenfield and acquisition processes
- Business case management of ENGIE’s development portfolio to Final Investment Decision
- Manage, develop, monitor and analyse pipeline opportunities with the view to increasing it by 400 MW per year with credible RES projects. Ensure a balanced allocation of pipeline between early stage, advanced development and shovel-ready projects
- Optimisation of our current assets, including assessment of contractual options and/or restructuring opportunities
- Participation in government and regulatory schemes to enable projects and represent the company externally through formal and informal industry networks, forums, conferences and industry bodies

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience leading a portfolio development and growth function that seeks to optimise energy generation assets, acquisitions and mergers. You will possess demonstrated experience in business growth, proposal development, services delivery costing build and the various contract arrangements for delivering maintenance services. You have an understanding of safety requirements related to energy assets and have sound experience with project management of large-scale assets, from handover to construction.
