**Introduction**:
The Hotel School Australia is a unique educational partnership between Southern Cross University and Mulpha Australia, a major stakeholder in the hospitality, tourism and hotel industry worldwide.

THSA develops future leaders in the hospitality, tourism, leisure and increasingly the luxury lifestyle sectors and does this by delivering a Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management and a Master of Business in Global Hotel Leadership inclusive of 4 nested courses to domestic and international fee-paying students.

SCU is registered as an Australian Public University and as a Provider of Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). The ESOS agency has enabled SCU to be registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). These registrations enable THSA to deliver the courses on behalf of the partnership to both domestic and international students.

Celebrating 35 years of operation in 2024, THSA operates across three states and four campuses and as a result has the largest national footprint of any hospitality, leisure and tourism program in Australia

**Description**:
Responsible for service delivery across the following key areas:
**Induction and Onboarding**:
Pre-arrival communication and engagement and assistance to integrate into life at THSA
Planning, oversight and execution with the Student Experience Coordinators of Orientation-related services
Planning and implementing student engagement activities at a national level for all campus locations both directly and indirectly through proxy resources (e.g., SATHS)

**Student Development, Wellbeing and Support**:
Planning, implementation and execution of student engagement activities at a national level for all campus locations throughout the Academic Year
Co-ordinate developmental activities in support of the student journey.

**Health and Wellbeing**:
Monitor the well-being of students through informal and formal communications
Being the day-to-day contact and managing the relationship with providers of counselling and related wellbeing services
Act as the main point of contact with SCU in the provision of wellbeing support to student

**Student Association**:
Oversee the administration of the Student Association at THSA (SATHS) program.

**Alumni**:
Establish an alumni program and network for THSA

**Reporting and Analytics**:
Execution of Student Experience Survey reports throughout the Academic Year
Reporting and analysis of Student Engagement Activities and Initiatives

**Budget Management**:
Responsible for the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) funding in consultation with Head, National Campus Operations and SCU.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience to sufficiently understand and appreciate the inner workings of a higher education operation across the Key Areas.
WWCC clearance.
Desirable to hold relevant WHS / First Aid certification.

**Skills and Competencies**:

Strong writing, formatting and communication skills, with well-developed written expression and grammar with attention to detail
