**The Opportunity.**

Visy Retail Services is a leading supplier & distributor of major brand hardware & retail products throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and a strategic partner to one of Australasia’s largest retailers.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Sales Area Manager to join our Western Australia team. Enjoy a Monday to Friday working week and use of a Company Vehicle.

**About the Role.**

Reporting to the State Sales Manager and working as part of a high achieving and experienced team, your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the State Sales Manager with overseeing the team’s day-to-day activities including refit and sales
- Providing coaching and mentoring to the WA sales team, upskilling their capabilities and driving sales
- Managing your own portfolio of retail stores to Visy Retail standards
- Being the ‘face’ of our brands and providing superior customer service to our client group
- Building strong relationships with in-store stakeholders

**What you will bring to the team**
- An inspiring leader, with a hands-on management style
- An understanding of best practice customer service and sales principles
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Highly motivated and results oriented leader
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- A positive, professional and ‘can do' attitude
- Proven working experience in big box retail (highly regarded)
- Experience working with hardware, homewares, furniture or related product categories (highly regarded)
