**Overview**

The Manager, Mental Health Promotion Programs is responsible for the management of the Mental Health Promotion Programs team to meet the key objectives of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Directorate, including supporting implementation of the Wellbeing SA Strategic Plan 2020-2025, the South Australian Public Health Act, 2011, the South Australian Suicide Prevention Act, 2021 and other key mental health and wellbeing strategies and related planning.

The role is required to strategically engage with the whole of State Government, Commonwealth Government, Non-Government sector and Local Government to lead and support the development and delivery of universal, selected, and targeted prevention and population health partnerships, systems and programs, across the life course for improved mental wellbeing and suicide prevention.

**Criminal History Screening Requirement**
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)

**Immunisation Risk for this position is** - Category C (mínimal patient contact)

COVID-19 vaccination may be an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
