**About the Role**:
As a Mental Health Worker at headspace Onkaparinga, you'll be integral to our multidisciplinary youth mental health team, delivering focused psychological interventions for youth aged 12-25. Your responsibilities include providing evidence-based counseling, conducting assessments, and coordinating care plans, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients. Collaborating with stakeholders, developing group programs, and facilitating referrals are key aspects of your role, contributing to the holistic well-being of our community's youth..

**Experience Requirements**:

- Training in evidence-based mental health protocols such as CBT, Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed Practice, DBT, or ACT.
- Experience facilitating evidence-based group programs.
- Participation in community-based multidisciplinary teams for youth mental health.
- Familiarity with medical assessment and pharmacological treatment for youth mental health disorders.
- Knowledge of relevant community resources for individuals with mental disorders. Knowledge of National Standards for Mental Health Services 2010.**Qualification and Other Requirements**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft software and databases.
- Qualifications to deliver evidence-based mental health services, meeting minimum requirements outlined in Adelaide PHN Credentialling Guidelines for CSPs - Version 2:

- Registered membership with PACFA (provisional or clinical), or
- Membership with ACA (any level), or
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health or equivalent, or
- Certificate IV in Mental Health, Youth Work, Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Allied Health Assistant, or equivalent
- Valid DCSI or Working with Children Clearance.
- Completion of Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Training.
