The Department for Education is establishing a school mental health service in South Australia, and we are seeking dedicated Mental Health Practitioners to join our team. **Key Responsibilities**
As a School Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide assessment and time-limited interventions for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Your role will involve working in partnership with school leadership and other stakeholders to support student mental health across different intervention waves.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- A Bachelor qualification or specialist/post-graduate qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
- Occupational Therapists and Psychologists must be registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA).
- Social Work applicants must be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers

**Special Conditions**
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**
AHP2: $85,665 - $99,241 per annum plus superannuation.
AHP3: $101,124 - $108,467 per annum plus superannuation.
