**About the hotel**

Situated 25 minutes east of Melbourne CBD, ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley offers 155 rooms, Ibis Kitchen & Bar, and 4 flexible meeting rooms catering from 4 delegates up to 120 delegates. Our hotel is the gateway to the magnificent Dandenong Ranges, Yarra Valley Food & Wine District, the Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island.

**Job Description**:
Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley is currently looking for Room Attendants to join our lovely Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be a key member of Housekeeping and report to the Housekeeping Manager on Duty. Key duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard
- Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type
- Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual
- Assist the Housekeeping team through the delivery of all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in a similar environment preferred
- Genuine passion for Hospitality
- A positive can do & customer focused attitude
- Availability to work on a rotating roster
- Ability to follow directions, perform tasks with attention to detail, speed accuracy, and follow-through
- Ability to maintain a high level of physical fitness
