Nestled in the Buderim foothills of the Sunshine Coast, you’ll feel a sense of ease from the moment you arrive. Lush rainforest surrounds the community where winding, landscaped streets lined with modern homes lead to an expansive leisure centre at the heart of the community where residents come to relax.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a friendly & professional amenity cleaner to join our Community. This is a full time position requiring 38 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
- Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- Check for and remove any rubbish; empty bins if required
- Attend to emergencies and escalate to management if required
- Sweep, bleach, scrub and mop the floors of common areas
- Wipe and clean all benches and tables
- Empty bins and clean bins as necessary
- Restock hand towels, tea towels, scorers and washing liquid
- \Clean all toilets and toilet facilities, including restocking amenities, cleanings mirrors and floors
- Clean shower cubicles in amenities facilities daily
- Review amenities store room and advise office employees of any required chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered

**About You**
- Practical experience / work history in a cleaning role
- Well organised and a strong eye for detail
- Current “C” class drivers licence (site dependent)
- Willingness to obtain First Aid certificate
- Willingness to obtain National Working with Children check
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate with all departments
- Ability to make decisions and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Confident and able to raise any concerns to management or another department
- Positive and enthusiastic

**Physical Requirements**
- Frequent lifting of rubbish bins, cleaning supplies and equipment
- Use of site buggy
- Use of broom, mop, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment
- Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching when carry out cleaning tasks
- Frequent walking around the site
- Use of cleaning products and chemicals
- Use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks
