**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for an experienced Direct Marketing Coordinator with excellent organisational, engaging copywriting skills and strong relationship-management skills. The purpose of the role is to implement the direct marketing strategy and to assist in the strategic development of the supporter relationship marketing program.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, an excellent communicator with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.

**Key duties**:
In this role you will be expected to:

- Develop campaign brief to outline agreed strategies, tests and online recommendations.
- Assist in the development of marketing collaterals and other communications.
- Coordinate mailing briefs, database and receipting.
- Contribute to the data selection process.
- Liaise with Donor Admin Officer and third-party suppliers.
- Provide interpretation of results and advice to help inform new strategies for conversion to regular giving, mid-value and major gift level and bequests.

**Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in administration or fundraising.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in administration for fundraising or similar.
- Experience in project management or high-level administration — in a fundraising environment would be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel are essential.
- Proficient experience with not-for-profit CRM database is essential.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
