  • We are reinventing, and repositioning ourselves as travel resumes through a major transformation stemming from the inside out. As we embark on the endeavor, we're seeking a skilled Direct Marketing Specialist to analyse customer needs, industry best practices, and channel dynamics. The primary goal is to develop customer lifecycle strategies that enhance the guest experience, thereby fostering longterm relationships and increasing member lifetime value.
    About the role
  • In collaboration with the CRM Manager, you will play a key role in executing communications across all Direct Marketing Channels to enhance the member experience during both the 'Booking' and 'Trip Anticipation' stages of their journey.
  • Working closely with the Predeparture Services team, you will ensure that existing customer Booking communications are current and relevant for all upcoming departures. Moreover, you will identify opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Your responsibilities will include documenting and establishing processes for Booking communications and Trip Anticipation journeys.
  • Additionally, you will develop a comprehensive customer touchpoint map, encompassing all communications within the Booking & Trip Anticipation stages.
  • Taking ownership, you will manage and oversee the endtoend execution of new SFMC journeys. This includes conducting master briefing sessions with internal stakeholders, briefing agencies and/or the Creative Studio Team, obtaining campaign approvals, building campaigns within SFMC, conducting testing, and deploying the final campaigns.

About you

  • You possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Marketing.
  • As a customercentric individual, you constantly seek innovative ways to enhance the customer experience, ideally having prior experience in the travel/leisure or retail industry.
  • You have a solid understanding of the travel sector, its unique requirements, and how it drives overall business success.
  • Your expertise includes direct and digital marketing practices, and you are wellversed in their influence on customer behavior and leading industry benchmarks.
  • Your strong copywriting skills enable you to create compelling content that aligns with brand and product guidelines.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred, though not essential.
