**The Role**

This role will be managing a new development which will yield around 100 architecturally design townhouses. As this project is at the beginning, the Development Manager will get the opportunity to work through the master-planning and visioning process as well as managing the delivery of the project later on. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire development process of this project, from the initial concept stage to completion.

**Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to;
- Creation and management of the development feasibilities at both the early stages as well as throughout the delivery process.
- Developing and implementing project plans, including budgets, time-lines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinating and managing the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Managing stakeholder relationships, including communicating with investors, clients, and government officials.
- Ensuring that the project meets Golden Age Group’s standards for quality, sustainability, and innovation.
- Monitoring progress and performance throughout the project life-cycle, and making necessary adjustments to ensure that objectives are met.
- Managing project risks, including identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project.
- Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
This role will suit someone with direct Townhouse development experience preferable having managed these types of projects in a Development Manager capacity. You’ll require a sound understanding of the subdivision process, civil construction as well as town planning, built-form design and delivery. You’ll also need to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, along with a keen motivation to succeed and progress. Your progression opportunities are only as good as your motivation to progress.
