**About the Role**

The Precincts team is responsible for the creation and delivery of large-scale urban redevelopment projects across Victoria. This project will have you working on the Ballarat West Employment Zone (BWEZ) project. The Development Manager will be responsible for assisting a team of industry professionals through the planning, design and documentation and delivery phases of development projects ensuring policy outcomes are achieved through financially viable projects.

**About You**

Ideally you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a property, project management, construction or finance related discipline.
- Proven ability and experience in planning, organising and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing of projects.
- Experience managing and directing people to generate successful results.
- Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting, and tight cost monitoring to achieve profitable outcomes.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including residential codes and controls as they affect residential development, construction related matters.

Key Skills and Experience
- Monitoring the financial performance of the allocated project by closely reviewing the financial performance against the set objectives and outcomes and arranging monthly evaluation reports to management.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial feasibility models and analyses the potential of a project to deliver a return on investment as approved by the Development Victoria Board.
- Working with graduates and junior staff members provide a supportive collaborative environment to grow skillsets and encourage career development.
- Utilising project costing and cash-flow management reporting systems and oversees their effective implementation to monitor delivery of projects against agreed budgets and performance targets.
- Preparing, maintaining, and monitoring project programs to meet the project objectives.
- Coordinating and directing internal and external project inputs including planning, design, marketing and sales, and settlement plans for allocated projects.
