We are hiring We have a unique opportunity for two Development Managers to join high performing teams in our Commercial business unit, based in the Barangaroo Head Office or at Melbourne Quarter.
The Development Manager - Commercial will be responsible for supporting the Senior Development Manager in preparation of feasibilities, acquisitions, delivering planning, managing execution and pre-commitment leasing and will be critical in managing complex government and investors, and stakeholders through the lifecycle of our developments.
Working in close conjunction with the project team, including the Project Director and the broader Commercial Sector, you will take ownership and responsibility for preparation of complex documentation, agreements, and management of designated work streams within a project.,
The role will also have a focus on the preparation and execution of project briefs, managing consultants, contractors, to produce product and infrastructure design, staging and statutory agreements, negotiation and preparation of project marketing and leasing materials. This role is market facing, playing an important part in securing key commercial tenants through Agreements for lease.
A strong track record in design development, cost control, procurement processes, authority management, commercial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential to this role. Some experience in leasing deals, managing tenants, and working with third part investors is desirable.
Tertiary qualification in a property development/construction related field is essential.
