About This Opportunity

As part of the Intranet Development and Migration project, you’ll provide technical leadership and expertise in the implementation and ongoing management of SharePoint Online and a new intranet service for UQ. You’ll develop and oversee processes for SharePoint configuration, site provisioning, support, migrations, reporting, and more. You’ll provide high level technical advice, support and troubleshooting for the project team and stakeholders

Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical leadership for SharePoint Online and its integrations with other Microsoft 365 products (e.g., Microsoft Search, Yammer, Teams, Power Automate) and UQ systems (e.g., central data systems).- In collaboration with other IT specialists, design and implement SharePoint configuration, provisioning, governance, permissions, monitoring and reporting to meet UQ’s requirements- Liaise with other UQ IT specialists, vendors, projects, and other stakeholders of SharePoint Online to ensure alignment of plans and resolution of issues.- Contribute to the design and implementation of UQ’s core intranet sites and services, advising the project team how to best utilise SharePoint Online to meet user needs.- Take a leading technical role in the planning and deployment of solutions involving SharePoint Online-
- Provide high level technical advice, support and troubleshooting for the project team and stakeholders.- Develop and oversee processes to migrate sites from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online.- Support other technical team members to develop their knowledge of SharePoint Online through mentoring and cross-skilling activities.This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position for to April 2024.

At HEW level 8, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $105,338 - $118,280 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $123,245 - $138,388 annually.

About You- Qualifications and training equivalent to a postgraduate degree in IT or related field, (or significant progress towards such qualifications) and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.- Extensive experience configuring, managing, and supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.-
- Extensive experience in technical solution analysis, design, and implementation.- Extensive experience in providing advanced technical advice, troubleshooting and support.- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of technical and non-technical people.- Demonstrated ability to write clear and complete technical documentation and specifications.- Experience migrating content from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online is desirable.- Experience supporting SharePoint Online in a large, complex organisation is desirable.
