**About the opportunity**

This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to provide efficient and effective help desk support for Blacktown City Council’s Electronic Document Management System and record keeping practices.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Certificate III in Records Management or Information Technology
- High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Records Management business rules, procedures, practices and policy
- System administrator knowledge of EDMS - HPE CM9
- Demonstrated confidence around troubleshooting, issue resolve and business development / improvement to support end users in the use of Councils EDMS Content Management (CM9)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW State Records Act 1998, associated standards and other relevant legislation
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Professional and courteous approach.

**Desirable**:

- Strong customer service focus and experience
- Local government experience in a records management environment.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,308.84 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
