**About the opportunity**

This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to provide efficient and effective information and records management services to Blacktown City Council.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or Information Technology or a related field
- A minimum 4 years experience in a high-volume information management area
- An understanding of the implications of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and the NSW State Records Act and Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002
- Strong attention to detail in a high-volume information management area.

**Desirable**:

- High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
- Local government experience in a records management environment.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,308.84 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
