**The Role**:
Are you highly motivated, well organised and have excellent project management skills, and a background in digital communications?

We are seeking an experienced Communications Officer, to lead the development and implementation of digital communication activities that encourage Victorians to move more every day.

**VPS4 Equivalent | Contract to 30 June 2023**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver the social media plan for Get Active Victoria. Research and write posts to deliver content for the identified target audience, including sourcing images
- Coordinate the delivery of content (video and written), and the production of print, online and other communication products for Get Active Victoria
- Support the maintenance of the Get Active Victoria's website with a third-party provider within budget, and to deadlines. Assist with testing new functionality and produce or update procedures and business requirements
- Provide direct support to Victorians interested in Get Active Victoria and those who have signed up to the initiative by managing the Get Active Victoria inbox
- Develop and maintain sound relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and members of the public
- Keep accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering communications through a variety of channels, within timelines and budget, and with high-level attention to detail
- Proven expertise in delivering communications materials, as well as coordinating the development and delivery of website functionality, paid advertising campaign, social media, video, and visual assets
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism or similar
