An exciting opportunity has become available within the Recreation Services team of Active Monash, to cover a position up to 01 September 2023 for a Recreation Project Officer role.
The position will report to the Senior Recreation Project Officer and will work closely with out other Recreation Project Officer and Capital Works Teams.
bout the Position:
The Recreation Project Officer will service manage minor and major capital works facility renewals, sports ground lighting, oval and pavilion redevelopments, as well as reserve and club capital works requests.
You have demonstrated knowledge and experience in sports and recreation project designs and facility standards ensuring these are detailed and delivered with the project.
Experience is also required in grant writing, capital bids and project openings.About you:
Support Recreation Services capital project planning and design projects.
Support the development and ongoing management of the Active Monash Capital Works Prioritisation Framework.
Support the Service Management of all Recreation Services capital works projects.
Support the development of pavilion project briefs, business cases, tender and quotes, as well as sit on elevation panels.
Requirement of the position:
Hold a current Victorian driver's licence (can drive from site to site)
Employee Working with Children's Check (if applicable)
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Pre-employment medical check.
