**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity to join Medibank as the Operations Improvement Manager on a 10-month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for actively working within the team and wider business to seamlessly deliver a continuous improvement and productivity program for Operations on-time and on-budget.

These continuous improvement and change initiatives are typically self-funded and have tight delivery timeframes to enable efficiencies to be rapidly realised. This position will also require identification of future productivity opportunities, as well as develop the governance around the program including planning, budgeting, scheduling, sequencing, and any other set deliverables.

The role will also be incident manager for selected compliance incidents owned by Operations, working with the accountable function to contain, remediate and address the root cause of compliance incidents.

This role requires exceptional delivery skills, people leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills to ensure the ability to influence positive change and a continuous improvement mind-set across all levels of Operations.

We’re looking for a remarkable human who can demonstrate a proven ability to deliver initiatives/projects on time, to specification, budget and quality, delivering business outcomes and customer satisfaction, as well as strong capability to manage small to medium cross-functional projects and teams within a multi-divisional organisation.

You have experience in project/initiative management in medium/large sized organisations and in project lifecycle and Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.

You also have the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders across the business, understand business principles and the broader business implications of project decisions and can demonstrate process improvement skills to identify opportunities and implement change.

Equally important you possess excellent communication and negotiation skills along with an ability to respectfully challenge project team members and stakeholders, to gain clarity, explore options or test the robustness of a proposed approach.
