**Your new role**:
The Support Consultant position involves firsthand interaction with customers to resolve technical support tickets raised through our geospatial help desk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as a direct customer liaison
- Manage and resolve first and second level software support requests.
- Perform troubleshooting and technical analysis of software issues related to but not limited to VertiGIS Geocortex and Esri ArcGIS; and
- Provide regular reporting on support KPIs.
**What we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will already have prior experience in a similar environment together with experience in geospatial software or technical support along with:
- Strong customer service background, taking pride in your work and striving to achieve a high level of customer service.
- A variety of technical computing skills and abilities to diagnose issues on Windows and PC environments.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and able to work individually on appropriate tasks.
- Excellent English communications skills, verbal and written with strong interpersonal skills.
- Technical troubleshooting experience in a Microsoft environment; and

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in IT, computer science, software engineering or geomatics
- One to two years’ experience in a similar role
- National police clearance
- Must hold permanent and full working rights in Australia.
