**Role Overview**
The Regional Services Coordinator plans and leads the activities of the Regional Services Branch in the delivery of high quality and professional services. The position coordinates a team that acts as the primary point of contact for consumers and businesses within the regions.

**Key Role Responsibilities**
- Manage a team to ensure an effective and efficient high quality service is provided to regional customers, consumers and industry.
- Ensure consistency of work practices and procedures across the regions with appropriate implementation of special instructions for dealing with particular types of complaints or issues.
- Proactively review and adapt policies and procedures to promote continuous quality improvement.
- Manage work allocation and distribution of files to maintain high quality and timely service delivery.
- Monitor the database to ensure all staff are recording information in the monthly report and addressing any incomplete entries.
- Attend to escalated calls and personally respond to complex or sensitive regional enquiries.
- Monitor emerging issues and escalate contentious, sensitive or otherwise high-level regional issues to the Director.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with officers of the department, other government agencies, businesses and customers and build a high performing regional team and work systems.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and support to all team members.
- Oversee the development of the team including actively participating in the delivery of training for staff development and enhancement of skills.
- Assist with management of the human, financial and physical resources of the team in accordance with the department's overall staff development objectives.
- Travels to regional locations to support team members as required.

**Role specific requirements**
- Demonstrated ability to understand strategic objectives, analyse trends and factors with a focus on implementing improved work practices.
- Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in leading a team and managing staff effectively across multiple locations.

**_NB: A current National Police Clearance is a requirement prior to commencement for this role._
