**The Role**
We are seeking a passionate Group Assistant to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Affairs team. Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Executive Director, the successful applicant will provide high-level professional administrative and project support including;
- Assisting with the organisation of events, workshops, and conferences.
- Diary management, including arranging appointments and meetings resolving any problems that may arise through conflicts and/or special requests.
- Assist with the preparation of documentation, reports and presentation materials.
- Raise purchase orders, tracking budgets and processing invoices.
- Arrange travel and accommodation as required.
- Ad hoc duties as required including the opportunity to flex your well-developed writing and creative skills supporting a high performing Corporate Affairs team.

This position ideal for a seasoned Executive Assistant who is passionate about creativity and seeking direct experience within a major government agency.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in
- Business Administration or relevant discipline preferred in combination with experience in the same or similar working environment or;
- Recent Public Relations or Marketing Graduate seeking firsthand experience with a large government agency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels on complex, confidential and sensitive matters, using tact and judgement.
- Ability to create and edit presentation and communication materials that are of a high standard.
- High level organisational skills including the ability to coordinate tasks, meet tight deadlines, determine priorities, take initiative and work under limited direction.
- Demonstrated experience in providing timely analysis and advice to senior management in a complex, sensitive and demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use judgement and initiative to assess, analyse and report on critical business issues and identify, recommend, and evaluate options to improve business performance.
